I found this book searching for an inheritance story because i love those, and I know this book is over a decade old, but I truly believe even if i read it back then I would have rated it the same. Not a huge fan of instalove, and this is like immediate! The language is really cringey, most of the circumstances are unrealistic and I didn’t feel the small town feel I think this book was supposed to portray. There’s SO many side characters mentioned with no development and then I found out this series has 12 books! This might be good for someone who just wants to read an instalove type book filled with lots of spicy scenes and not something of substance, maybe like a palette cleanser. I personally just don’t vibe with the writing style of this author so I won’t read another one.
