Aw man Jodi does it again. Another one that reminds me why she’s my fave. Heavy subject matter but as per usual the characters offer so many sides and different viewpoints.
While some books offer unlikeable characters this book goes a step further in making each one very human i.e. equal parts likeable & unlikeable characteristics.

Reading this as a mom was hard. The FMC did something most parents would have wanted to do if they were in her shoes.
I love Jodi's writing and her stories always pull at the heartstrings and make you question if you would have done the same thing in that situation.
Definitely some teary eyed moments, a full on cry, overall emotion throughout was mad, and just plain sad.
