I absolutely fell in love with Natalie and Liam! Separate, they're good. Liam is the picture perfect Navy Seal and Natalie is the grieving widow who's trying to move forward with her child. But together, they're the couple everyone aspires to be.

There's drama. There are some funny parts. There's love. This duo is one of my new favorites and a set I will definitely read again.

I still can't decide which is worse, the cliffhanger in Consolation or the unavoidable obsessing over the various theories about what would happen while we waited. I had so many questions and things I was dying to know. In my head I had it all figured out. In real-life I had no idea.

All my questions were answered, even if they weren't the answers that I thought that I wanted. There were things that I hoped would happen that didn't and things that happened that I never saw coming but Natalie and Liam's story turned out exactly as it should have. Don't get me wrong, I found myself angry more than one time while reading and really, really wanted to punch people but in the end everything turned out the way that it was supposed to.

I can't even begin to describe how much I love Corinne's writing. She has a way of sucking you into a story so hard that you feel it in your bones. The characters become your friends, and sometimes your enemies. They become so ingrained in your brain and heart that you'll be left with a book hangover for days...months even. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Entering the tear duct repair program

This book had my emotions all over - but in a good way. It's been a while since I read a book that had me equally laughing, crying and swooning. Fantastic and emotional. Absolutely loved it!

This was a beautiful, heartbreaking, tragic, emotional, and tearjerking novel. I cried so many times. This book especially hit home for me due to Lee having PCOS. One of my fav adult novels this year so far.

The second book, while maintaining the style of the first, changes pace. We pass from the discovery of love, from the first kisses to the world that rests against us and to us that we must fight so as not to lose what we hold most in the world. The return of Aaron profoundly marks the two protagonists, but the thing I liked the most is the fact that despite his presence is no longer just a ghost, but a tangible obstacle, Natalie takes the reins of her life in her hands and doesn't kneel in front of Fate.
No, the love he felt for Aaron will always be there and their little girl will always be a wandering memory, but she now loves Liam and him... oh how I would have beat him at some point! Aaaargh!
That is, let's understand, he is fantastic because he makes always the right choice - after all, it is Nat who must decide - but ugh!

However, I avoid revealing more. The happy ending is there and I LOVE IT.

Corinne Michaels has a unique style, flowing, sweet, the dialogues are fun and deep and I was so absorbed by the reading that I forgot to emphasize the phrases that I liked the most.
In the story, there are also many secondary characters who have very important roles. All are very well defined and do their part well. I really hope that the Leggereditore will also bring us their stories even if I doubt there may be a character like Liam.
The best thing about these books is that the feelings they transmit are real in a way that I cannot even explain. The stories seem true, tangible. And Liam... oh well.
Have you ever seen Pearl Harbor? Here, I told you everything.

"Sometimes you have to wade through the bad to find the good. Life isn’t easy, but with Liam by my side, I know I don’t have to carry it all on my own. Our love will heal us and lift us up."

- Book two in a duet
- Narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! I can’t give too much away without spoilers, but I loved Natalie’s conviction from the beginning. I also loved how Liam accepted she was a package deal with Aarabelle. The proposal? 😭 And then the wedding? 😭 Way to make my heart melt, Liam. This duet is just so so good. I highly recommend it.
