Didn’t really do much for me, I skimmed a lot of the second half, except Kalli’s chapters, I liked her a lot as a character. However the other two are so irritating and selfish and unlikeable to me. With there being three different storylines, none of them were particularly exciting enough to keep my attention. It felt like nothing really happened and then suddenly everything was resolved in the last chapter of each character. Certainly not the worst book I’ve read and worth a go if you like this kind of thing.

If you finish Bridgerton and want to stay in that world for a little while, this is a good book for that. Definitely modern-minded. There are social issues brought up, but the book never gets too heavy or dwells on them too much.

There were several things I really liked about the book. I loved Kalli and enjoyed her point of view chapters the best. The couple pairings were not entirely predictable, and I also really, really liked that all the love interests were flawed. They genuinely said and did things that made it completely reasonable for the women to get upset. I dislike in romance novels when the men are perfect and the only conflict is caused by misunderstanding. Both Adam and Mr. Levinson messed up, but they had enough likable qualities that it’s also easy to forgive them.

I didn’t find myself enjoying Thalia’s chapters as much. I could not really relate to her, although I couldn’t quite put my finger on why. Charis was fine, but I felt like I was constantly being told how clever she was while she acted oblivious most of the time.

Overall an enjoyable read for springtime.

Fun YA regency with THREE romances!

The author’s notes are worth a read/listen as acknowledges the fantasy element to regency romance novels in comparison to the reality of the time period.

I found it to be alright. I got aggravated sometimes because of the romance. But the setting is really what drew me in.
