I found this a really uneven mix of stories. Not just the balance of tone, length, and feel within the issue, but also the quality. Of the seven stories, I liked two, kind of liked one, disliked three and DNF'd one. The two I liked:

The Quickening (Casey Frost) - this is a slow developing psychological horror with a generous amount of body horror to go with it. There are sections that read at first glance as being thinly veiled references to Alzheimers disease, but as the details added together, it was so much more.
Nightwood (Elena Gomel) - suitably creepy story about a woman lost in the wood of lost things.
