I hate when people say this, but I’m saying it for the first time in my life. I predicted the ending on this one fairly easily. I LOVE Kiersten Modglin, and this book definitely had me hooked and stayed true to being her face-paced, easy read, but it just didn’t give me the shocking twist I usually get.
This book was infuriating and illogical (yet somehow also weirdly predictable?) on so many levels. Super disappointed, as I’ve loved lots of other books by this author.

This was a crazy, messed up world wind. it kept me guessing, and just kept getting crazier.
I have read a couple mother-in-law books and they are usually so good but triggering at the same time because of my own mother-in-law issues, of course nothing like thriller stuff, but just crazy jealous too attached to her son mother stuff!
I am loving Kiersten Modglin's books! They are short, fast paced, many twists that always keep you guessing. Can't wait to dive into more of her books.

Another great book by Modglin! The book took a twist that I did not see coming! I knew the mother-in-law was going to be a pain, but I did not expect her to be this evil! I was hooked from the prologue which gives you just a hint of the ending, but the ending was nothing like I expected! I just love how she has so many different twists in her books, it keeps me always guessing. Another great read and another recommendation!
