I literally was yelling at the main character the whole time saw the events unfold. The ending didn't make sense and was very rushed
Wow!! Okay the audiobook is really good. That ending made up for the house selling situation. They didn't have to sell the house to evict her. Go to the courthouse and ask them to draw up eviction paperwork. If she's not out by that date call the cops. But hey people make stupid decisions all the time. The letter at the end, smh wow!! I would recommend the audiobook.

you're telling me this lady... chose not to throw out her insane mother in law but sell the house? when you and your husband could have easily tossed her out on the street?
Another great Kiersten Modglin read! I would have gone INSANE in Loren’s shoes dealing with a MIL like Coralee! Oh my word...what a despicable woman. Really enjoyed this!
A psycho thriller Must Read
This took a little bit for me to get into the storyline, but once I did, its one of the best books I've read in this genre. Highly recommend!

This is maybe my 3rd or 4th Modglin book and let me tell you this one had me HOOKED! I was angry, I was tense, I was ready to throw my kindle! This is definitely one of her more grippy domestic thrillers that I’ve read so far and I’m not sure I’ve ever hated a character as much as I hated Coralee. Or wanted to shake a character as much as I wanted to shake both Jack and Loren!
This wasn’t awful, but I kept having a nagging feeling like I’m missing something. I think it was Jack. Something about his character was weird to me.
