This feels specifically like reading a comic book, which is to say, you're dumped in a world and feel like you're missing a good 75% of the lore/context/backstory. I liked the general urban fantasy style concept but nothing really clicked; I didn't even enjoy the art style all that much. It wasn't egregiously offensive or dude-bro-y but it did feel like some major wasted potential.

I loved the graphics and art style of Hexed. There were a couple pages towards the beginning that gave me the ick factor but other then that it was a solid read. I feel that the way it ended that maybe someday there could be an extension somehow.

A thief who steals magical items from bad guys? What's not to love about that? I really enjoyed the storyline through Hexed, both "The Devil I Know" and "The Harlot & the Thief", but I had a bit of a preference for the Emma Rios art in "The Devil I Know". The art of "The Harlot & the Thief" is gorgeous as well, but all the faces of the women are too similar for me. I'm not a huge fan of all the women in something looking the same. Aside from that though, the art and coloring through both stories is great. I enjoy watching Lucifer and Fastrada's development through their storyline.

Overall a nice mix of some dramatic stories lines mixed with some whimsy.
