Much like my thoughts on other books written by this author, this book is cute, fine, very much similar to all other romcom. Nothing major happens. It’s a cute love story, I did like the niece in the story. The amount of hold time I waited for this to come available in the library was ridiculous for this type of book.

This is the book that made me realize that I have developed a love-hate relationship with romance books. I will definitely eat romance books up but also I will actively hate the fakeness and “miracle” love finding.

The fmc did seem to have a lot of dreams about love that I didn’t find realistic but she luckily (ofc) found her perfect match.

The spicy scene was a bit too long for me. After a page I was already over it and just wanted to see what conflict would happen that would separate them for a bit, how they get together, and how the author decides to end the story.
