okay, yeah.... it was cute.

i hated all the taylor swift references, but alas, i still enjoyed the book. i do still think tara is a bit creepy and over the top, sometimes it was justified being called "crazy" because she was flat out stalking people. like yeah you are a creep, girl. and some of the terminology was questionable, and even though I KNOW she's a social media influencer, there's a right and a wrong way to do it! it was just a littttleeee too over the top for me.

but i overall really enjoyed her and trevor together, and i also didn't expect this to be a single POV but i didn't mind it. luckily not many pages were wasted on useless things like other single POV books.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I’m ngl, Tara could be quite unhinged at times, but aren’t we all. That and the fairytale ending pushed it down from a 5-star for me.
I just felt like the tension and slow-burn was so well-done right up until the 3/4 mark. Then I felt everything fit into place too well…if that makes sense lol.

Suddenly, this man had always loved this woman. Everything was sunshine and rainbows and romance book love. I don’t know…it just felt a bit “steady on lads” for me.
The ending was a little bit corny and Trevor got a bit icky…which feels insane to say…but he was just so soppy and wet moppy.

Also, the jokes about Tara thinking strangers were in love with her from any act of kindness, and her planning their future immediately was funny in the beginning. But then it just started to show she was a little delulu, and the fact she was 100% serious with it all…oh babes.
There’s a fine line between teehee funny and omg you need help xox

BUT it was cute…and I did like Tara’s character for the most part. Also…TREVOR?! Hello??? Can I please have a cute, broody fireman?
