I’m convinced Tara’s character is loosely based on Terry.
This book like the main character, is a lot. Literally.
I think I would have liked it more if it was shorter and with less intensely detailed internal monologues + the romance was not built well enough in my opinion.
Other than that the whole over the top, Tara loves love concept works pretty well and I chuckled a few times but I also got annoyed some others and for those reason this books sits right in the middle with the rating.
Thank you NetGalley & Penguin General UK for the digital ARC.

i feel like reading these kinda books is detrimental to my perception of love but hey i still keep reading them
Liked this better than Set on You. The characters were still a bit... meh, but they worked nicely together. I liked the slow progression of their friendship and their rooming together was fun and cute.

Dear Lord girl. I wanted to shake her. Tell her to open her eyes and see who's in front of your face. He's everything you want.

REVIEW POST - Book 42 of 2025
Exes and O's by Amy Lea
This is book two in the Influencer series, and I enjoyed it. I actually listened to most of this on audio for my drive to Rare.
The story follows Tara, a romance-obsessed blogger who’s trying to rekindle things with her exes while unknowingly falling for her new roommate. After a bad break up, she decides to embark on a challenge to reconnect with all the men she loved before, convinced that her second chance story is in their somewhere. Shame they're all exes for a reason.
Tara felt relatable, especially for any of us who love a good love story, and Trevor was the perfect balance to her big, romantic energy. I appreciated that the miscommunication element didn’t feel overdone. It fit naturally into the story and didn’t drag on unnecessarily.
