I wasn't expecting this short story to completely shatter me and make me cry. Absolutely STUNNING. Second person POV which is so difficult in of itself on top of beautiful beautiful heartbreaking writing. I am floored. OH MY GOD

It was such a good book.

I would've 10/10 read this if it was a full novel but it didn't need to be one.
I think Alix E. Harrow has done an exceptional job even in 30 pages.

I have never read something like this before. And the fact that it was fantasy and she still managed to weave a complete story in 30 pages is insane.

I'd highly recommend it, even if short stories are something new to you.
Also, going into it blind would be the best way.
