This was a great read. Alan Gratz never disappoints. It was a little weird to be reading about a time in history that I was actually alive for. I can't wait for my students to read this and talk to them about the story and the true facts of 9/11. Mr. Gratz did a great job of sharing horrific details from a kid's perspective. It is very well written and one I will be promoting in my library.

ALAN GRATZ IS THE BEST HISTORICAL FICTION WRITER that's all I have to say

this book was really sad and detailed but in the end it was happy.

I love Alan Gratz and have been a fan of his for years. This book is great and hard to put down. It's not my favorite of his, but its close!

Alan Gratz is masterful at bringing stories together! This one did not disappoint. The story of the towers is told from inside of then building. That’s HUGE for perspective! And then getting a glimpse into Taliban warfare and the surrounding villages gave a different perspective to what war does to good people. Highly recommend!
