A nice easy read, with likeable characters and a great pace. This book got me out of a rut and was perfect for what I needed.

I'm not the target audience for this book, given I don't like walking or nature that much, but I liked the representation of single people in their late 30s/early 40s and childlessness not by choice, which isn't something you don't see very often. Also this might have received a higher score if I hadn't read it after a string of romantasy books, making the English countryside seem exceedingly dull in comparison (sorry).
