Outstanding! I loved the setting, the voice, the characters, the chemistry - everything was delightful. Can't wait to read another Christmas Tree Farm Mystery.

I read this as an audiobook and I could not be more in the holiday spirit! If you want a Christmas story featuring a cozy murder mystery, a small down in the winter, family feels, a romance, and quirky characters, I highly recommend! Smiled the whole way through this and craved much hot cocoa and sweets.

Twelve Slays of Christmas: A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery is my new favorite holiday story. This is a neat mystery story about a young woman coming home to her family for the holidays and falling into some trouble. Holly White was supposed to be getting married on Christmas Eve but instead, she's back home in Mistletoe after her fiancee canceled because he became more interested in a yoga instructor. Heart-weary and just looking to relax and recollect herself Holly is back home helping her parents at their tree farm in time for the parents' famous Reindeer Games. Trouble is brewing at home when Holly learns that Mrs. Fenwick is being a bit more grumpy than usual. With Mistletoe being a historical town Mrs. Fenwick is out to keep it as historically correct as possible. Too bad it's ruffling some feathers of more than one or two people that she badgers. Sadly, someone has secrets that they are trying to keep and Mrs. Fenwick ends up paying with her life. Holly manages to be in the middle of the whole affair and brings danger nipping at her heels. Can she manage to stay out of trouble long enough to get through the holidays helping her family? Or will she keep poking at the proverbial bear and end up on the wrong side of the killer, endangering not just herself but her family?
Twelve Slays of Christmas is the perfect story for the holiday season and must read for those who like fun mysteries. Holly is an engaging main character, and surprisingly never gets on my nerves! LOL! She has some serious talent but you can tell that she doubts herself at times. Her family is caring, sweet and the town is absolutely fantastic. There is just the right amount of mystery, fun, humor, and danger to make any cozy mystery lover happy. There is even some light romance that never really full manifests until the end but I love the sparks that spark throughout the story. This is a mystery that will keep you guessing as to who the culprit is until the reveal. This is a book that I will be reading again and again over the years. It's absolutely perfect in my opinion. I love how family oriented most of the characters are and how they come together as an even bigger family. The story is beautiful, cheerful, and lots of fun. I'll absolutely be recommending this book to those who love a good holiday Christmas movie.
I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I really hope to read more stories like this from the author. I also hope that there will be a return trip or two to Mistletoe in the future as well.

**I voluntarily read this ARC**

This was an amazing start to a new series. The setting was wonderful and made me want a hot tea by a fire in a cozy chair. I loved the Christmas theme, which was taken to an amusing extreme. The mystery was great with a surprising ending.

So glad I stumbled on this in audible! It’s was such a fun listen while I worked on a puzzle. I immediately blew through the other two books in the series. I’ve got my fingers crossed for a new one next Christmas.

3.8. I enjoyed this much more than I thought. I also loved the audible narrator.

Finally a somewhat realistic cozy! A person who asks questions and gets in trouble! There’s legitimate feelings and complications and consequences! I loved how real the characters are!

I was decorating yesterday for Christmas and I was looking for a festive audio, found this included in my Audible membership.

The story was set through a sort of 12 days of Christmas celebration with games on a tree farm called Reindeer Games. Holly White comes back home to Mistletoe after a fiancé dumps her just before their Christmas Eve wedding and she gets entangled in a mystery after the murder of a meddling person.

I think the premise is not very original, but I liked the characters and I found that when I listen to an audio I don’t find the killers as easily because I tend to do other things while listening. I thought this was entertaining, my brain has been on neutral lately and that book was perfect for that kind of mood.

A wonderful cozy holiday mystery with a little bit of romance mixed in, set in the delightful town of Mistletoe, Maine. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did an excellent job. I will be sure to read the rest of the series.

A fun Hallmark Christmas Movie of a book. I want to go to Mistletoe, ME.
