I don’t know what it is about these books but they’re addictive. You definitely have to love these characters and the world to really enjoy it. This book definitely was a journey. We spend a good chunk on this book away from Castletree which was an interesting change of pace.

First we have Rosalina back in the human world, banished by Kel. I’ve said it before but the human world is not my favorite in this story, I definitely prefer it when we are in the far realm. Luckily Rosalina manages to make contact with Ezryn and him, Dayton, and Farron come to save their Lady of Castletree. It was pretty hilarious seeing them try to blend in. Unfortunately we had drama with her ex, I just hate him, constantly wanted to be rid of him. Oh and Rosalina’s father goes with her into the fae realm which was nice to see him there and fitting in.

The gang ends up going to the Autumn realm because it appears as though Winter has decided to start war with Autumn, which is news to Kel. Turns out there’s something resembling Winter’s power frosting the lands and leaking into Autumn and it’s up to them to figure out what’s going on. Kel learns all is not right with his realm as he thought. And Farron learns to embrace his calling as the Prince of Autumn with the help and strength of Rosalinas love for him.

We also spend a bit of time in the Below when they are forced to attend Caspian’s birthday party (which seemed so funny to me). Lots of debauchery happening down there let me tell you. But we did get to see more of Caspian and I’m very intrigued about his storyline.

I just want more Ezryn, I’m an Ezryn girlie. Let me know what he looks like without the helmet!!

I didn’t think they could top the first book but the beautiful story telling and world building that was done in this book is unmatched. They have truly done it again, 10/10 would recommend this series it is was got me back into reading and i thank them so much for bringing that joy back into my life. The sisters also care so much about their fans and I can tell from the amazing and many spicy scenes they included, spicy scenes 10/10 also. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!
