Overall I like the plot of Much Ado About Nothing and think the premise is really sweet and interesting. I normally can get a grasp of Shakespearean text and understand it. However I was sooooooo lost throughout a lot of moments in the book and couldn’t understand the relevance of some moments. I didn’t understand Act 3, Scene 3 whatsoever and thought it was so irrelevant for such a lengthy scene. It labels itself as a comedy and I don’t understand why. If I’m honest right at the end they might as well have played “We’re all in this together” from High school musical cause that’s what it felt like the ending was. It is fine but doesn’t deserve a lot of the praise it gets.
