Robot almost self-destructs because two of its friends can't play well together. I think it would be easy to read?

Rabbit’s friend Robot is coming for a sleepover. Rabbit is excited. He has made a list of fun things to do. But when Robot gets there he wants to play Old Maid instead of Go Fish, and he’d like nuts and bolts on his pizza instead of chopped vegetables.

This is a nicely humorous beginning reader.
