I'm a big Tia fan and was excited to read this book once I found I was pregnant. I was also interested to read to find out about how her struggles with endometriosis affected her. Then I spent weeks sick and I am just finally getting around to reading this one. I mention that only because I think this book is great reading for your 1 trimester. I read it during my 2nd and found most of the information I already knew from my doctor and the multitude of app/and pregnancy email updates. I did appreciate Tia's honest and candor about the not so fun aspect of pregnancy and I think what stands out most to me is her realization that she shares about just how not in our control this pregnancy ( and babies) can be. For most first time moms, we are used to being able to control things and at least for me, this is one of the first times I have none.
