This was a good entry in the series but lacked any more important developments for the larger plot. Still, it was exciting and intense, so it was an easy read.

This was another good addition to the series. As with many books of this series, I only took a star off because a piece of animal anatomy was misrepresented, although in this one, it wasn't the usual case of a knee bending backwards. Instead, it was the description of a tarantula as having a beak like a bird. Otherwise, the story was the usual combination of deep, serious issues and childlike quirkiness that we all love from the Animorphs (in this case, suicide and oddly flavored oatmeal).

Let's fight alien brain parasites with...

...Porridge? (Instant oatmeal to you Americans)

This was a fun one if extremely dark in places. A kid's book where a man tries to off himself by jumping from a building?

It also tapped into my buried alive/claustrophobia fear with them morphing moles. Nah, no thanks.

on the edge of my seat the whole time. a lot of great insight into Rachel’s character and how she views her role in the team, as well as showcasing her quick thinking and take action approach to everything going horribly wrong.
