Okay tbh i read this bc i just finished the Highgate prep series (and previously tarnished embers and tainted saints) so i figured why the hell not. And read the second book bc again, why the hell not.

It’s a why choose, with ofc hot dudes but the story wasn’t as compelling to me in comparison to her others. Yes they are all very, very morally grey but this one was the most out of them all imo, maybe because the dudes were the oldest in comparison to the other MMCs she wrote about.
