wow. I'm speechless. what the fuck have I just read
if this is ain't the weirdest shit I have ever read
I need more time to process my thought. but damn

"No jump scares. To me, these qualities aren't usually scary. Something that disorients, that unsettles what’s taken for granted, something that disturbs and disrupts reality—that’s scary.”

On an immediate reread I know it’s an all time favorite. I’m obsessed and upset.
The way this story pieces itself together in a completely different way after knowing the ending is incredible. There are so many details and scenes that just hit different.
The themes that it’s actually talking about broke me on this reread and now I hate thinking about this book cause it makes me sad. It fills me with a very unique kind of dread.

Weird, a bit confusing, and slow to get into. I thought there was too much talking and philosophical conversations...usually I like this, but it was a bit boring for a thriller. I also thought the ending was too short and ended abruptly. I would have rated this lower but I will give the author credit for making me unable to put this book down.
