this is a very thorough exploration into the rise in misogyny across the US and Europe both on and off line. i entered this book having a decent amount of knowledge about the manosphere, but this definitely expanded my knowledge and understanding of the different communities lurking in there. it was definitely a difficult read, but an important one, especially in today’s political climate.

I think this book is such an important read in the current U.S. political climate. I had some background going into this read, but didn’t realize the widespread, violent extent of the misogyny that is fostered online. Some of the statistics and true stories that were told had my mouth agape. I really appreciated the connections to how these misogynistic ideas are upheld in politics and western culture. I wish that non-western cultures had been discussed and their differences further examined but overall great, quick read.
