There's some overstating of cases and some over-interpretation of statistics in here and certain chapters were more compelling and data-informed than others. While I can quibble about the exact extent of the problems discussed here, the fact that they exist is not in dispute and I appreciate Bates's attempt to ring the societal alarm bells and discuss the hate that women are exposed to online and how misogyny is manifesting and warping our digital and physical realities.
