I am finally able to return to my book club and this is our September pick. I loved it! The different narrators gave layers to the story. Harbinder thinking Clare was looking down on her and Clare...definitely doing that lol

The twist was good. And I'm glad it was Ty because otherwise he was just a complete predator. They kept saying "oooh he's nice but a little too old". She was 15. He was 21. J A I L.

Anyway, I liked it a lot and thought the audiobook was fantastic. And I really loved The Stranger being woven in and then us finally getting the whole story.

I'll for sure pick up more from Griffiths.

Nicely spooky thriller. I really liked the triple narration interleaved with a ghost story and the nods to the Gothic genre. Good set up with some neat shocks but I felt the ending was a little rushed. A good read.

I wanted to love this novel and it's writing, but unfortunately it fell a bit short for me. I enjoy a good mystery, and this left much to be desired. Slightly predictable as well.
