All very good reads, and all for an amazing cause. Now I have to go out and get some of the series I got a peek at! As a huge Karina Halle fan, I was more than excited to read the story of how Camden and Ellie met, and as I expected, it was excellent! (not that the others weren't... but I love me some Camden)

Have you ever been bullied?
Know someone who was bullied?
Saw someone get bullied?
Maybe you were the bully?

Which ever category you may fall into, I'm sure you know that bullying can have a devastating effect. It happens all over the world to people of all ages and walks of life. Last year the world was rocked by one young girls story. She posted a video on the Internet site YouTube, explaining her truly heartbreaking experience with bullies. Amanda Todd was fifteen years old. A month after this video was posted, she took her own life.

Now, 16 incredible authors have joined forces to create Stories For Amanda, where 100% of proceeds go to the Amanda Todd Legacy, an anti-bullying campaign to help teach people the effects their words and actions can have on others, and to let those who have been bullied know that they aren't alone, and there is a better option than suicide.

Amanda's story wrecks me. I can't hear, see, read, or even think anything about her story without crying. It's truly devastating, so as soon as I heard of this book, I knew instantly I would do what I could to promote it. And then I had the chance to read it prior to release and though Amanda still lay heavy on my mind, this book had a life of it's own, made possible by the fantastic 16 short stories included within it's pages.

Stories For Amanda is perfect because not only did I get to read new stories from some of my favourite series and authors, but I got to find and fall in love with authors who are new to me. Just because you haven't read their previous work, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the short stories in this book, and like me, you could end up filling your reading device/bookshelf with some fantastic new books.

Though each story is unique, quite a few of them involve bullying in one way or another but the soul focus isn't on the bullying itself. It's on the fact that you can overcome it. You may not feel it but you are strong enough. There is someone out there who loves you and believes I you, even if you don't. Just don't give up. Please. Don't give up.

So please. Buy this book. Already have it? Gift it to a friend. Ask them to do the same. I think we can all agree that this is for a fantastic cause, and Amanda's story is one that needs to be heard.

I was given an arc in exchange for an honest review.

It is so great that these authors donated their work to this project, and it was an absolute joy to be able to read and review it for them.

There are some stories in this anthology that are wonderful, truly. They're written well, and I enjoyed them. I can't say that for every story in this book. Some authors clearly spent more time on their story, and it showed.
