I enjoyed this book quite a bit, it represents a good mix of PKD with each story feeling unique and having qualities of his more fames works, I liked Autofac, The Hood Maker, Human Is and the Hanging Stranger the most, I doubt this would disappoint any PKD fan.

Such enthralling short stories. Instantly hooked even though they're only a few pages each. Took me a while to get through the book, paused it a few time. Sci fi isn't strictly my thing but I will be reading more PKD. GReat writing!

I mean, basically every story was like an episode of the Twilight Zone? Or the Twilight Zone is very PKD-influenced? I don’t know, I haven’t sorted that out yet. But I like both of these things, so I’m on board. I liked this story collection quite a bit more than “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” though, actually. Probably because I hadn’t already seen the adaptation. This book made me want to read more PKD, whereas I was relatively ambivalent towards him before.
