This will definitely be a top 5 for me this year. I got not only GoT vibes but Shaka the Zulu vibes as well. Loved the world building, action for days. ( that was a lot) but the story was beautiful as well. Can’t wait to read the next book. No notes Evan Winter!
Probably the best and most fast paced book I’ve ever read! It doesn’t let up from the very first page to the very last! The pacing doesn’t sacrifice character development and depth though. It starts off right in the action and can be hard to follow at first, but once you get used to being in the world it’s easy to follow. Starting the second one immediately! This is likely to be my favorite book/series of all time!!

Let me just say, I am not a fantasy girl. I'm all love, rom-com and happy ending but this freakin book here!! I don't know how in the world I stumbled on this recommended title but whatever I read that day was legit. This book! This thing is grippingly brilliant. The story line, the dang fierceness of the MMC was wild. I loved him immediately. I usually scrap fantasy because of all the world building. I can't follow it for nothing. But this title... had me literally trying to understand because I wanted to know. I wanted to follow. And yes, there was a small love interest but trust, I would not have missed a beat if there wasn't! Its that good! So did I tell a couple of friends? yep. Did I tell my husband to read it? yep. This one!! and the ending!... man please. Read this book!!
