The first third of this book felt shallow and I wasn’t sure why I kept listening (maybe just for the British accent). The second third got much better, and I particularly resonated with Dolly’s experience of watching her friends find their life partners. Her insight was really helpful. The final third was a 5 star read, and I felt that’s when it really got into what she knows about love. I think the first parts were necessary to build the third, but I think they could be better (and spend a little less time talking about cocaine.) I found myself recommending this to my twenty-something year old sisters by the end. It’s a quick read and a nice exploration of dating in the age on dating apps. would recommend to most twenty something year old women.
Graphic: Abandonment, Cancer, and Death
Moderate: Eating disorder and Sexual violence
