Ahora.

After surviving the fight for Caswell, Gavin left. He left with Richard Livingstone, after everything he had been through with the Bennet pack. For Carter, it's not over. Despite his bonds, the risk of turning Omega, he leaves Green Creek to find Gavin and bring him home.
This book concluded the Green Creek series.
I loved the themes in this series, and in this book in particular. There is a really strong focus on found family, on being accepted for who you are without having to change. This was a great fantasy, with wolves and witches and magic, but I also really loved the darker themes covered including grief, depression, feeling alone and lost against bright lights like family and acceptance and friendship. Everything just fit so well.
This is the final book in a four book series. I love all the characters. I love how they have grown throughout the books. However, I did feel things got a little repetitive. The whole Bennet clan are funny sarcastic characters who love deeply. I didn't feel there was as much variation between them, and a lot of the interactions between Carter and Gavin in this book felt reminiscent of Joe and Ox, Robbie and Kelly and Mark and Gordo. The formula worked well, and it was fun to read, but I felt like by this point in the series there was just a lot of repetition.
I would recommend this series though, and this book wrapped everything up well: there was a touch of happiness, a touch of grief, but overall hope, and a satisfying sense that the wolves of Green Creek had found their place.
