4.5 stars. None of the sequels reach the level of the first book, but this one gets the closest. Aside from the first book, this is the only one I’d probably read again in its entirety.

I knew Carter’s book was going to be my favorite, and this book did not disappoint. Not only were Gavin and Carter’s relationship shown so much better than the others, we also got to see so much more character from everyone else. This was a really great ending to this series. Also bawled like a baby at Ox’s letter.
