Liar
Voyeur #5
By: Fiona Cole
Narrated by: Ava Erickson, Brian Pallino

Taboo is one of my favorite tropes, and who better to bring it than Fiona Cole? Age Gap, Uncle's best friend, boss, it can't get better than this, and Cole gives us a steamy couple, written in a way that makes you root for the the couple! Kent and Olivia met one night in Voyeur. Little did they know their paths would cross again, and their explosive chemistry would turn into love! When Olivia comes home for a family dinner and sees Kent sitting at the table, she is taken by surprise! She accepts an internship with his company and the two are in constant contact. Will they be able to resist? And how will the family take it? So much emotion packed into this one, it's fast paced and exciting! Olivia may be young, but she knows what she wants. Her boldness is scary at times, and other times I found her slightly frustrating. Kent is cautious, but oh so swoony. I was on their side from the start! Smartly written with characters we know, the story is hot, passionate and romantic. I love this series and this book is fantastic!

Ava Erickson and Brian Pallino are the perfect fit for these two. Ava has a young voice, and she melds right into Olivia. She has a fearlessness that is unbounded at times, and Ava captures her essence flawlessly. Pallino is Kent. Hesitant, seductive, alpha, he encompasses all the traits and creates an amazing personality for Kent. These two are fabulous together and its a great listen.

Liar, Liar. Pants on fire...

Or in this case panties on fire.

Fiona Cole has definitely made me question if I am a Voyeur. I know that if I were fabulously wealthy, I would at least have a membership. (Bites lip and imagines all the fun!)

Liar was a very nice, naughty surprise. It's terrible to admit but I have 2 signed paperbacks and 3 ebooks of Ms. Cole's work. I've met her. I adored talking to her and buying her books at a signing but this is the first time in 3 years since I met her that I have read one of her books. I know. Shame on me. (That's actually the first book I ever got of hers. Its sitting about 10ft away from me while I type this.) I feel like the last kid invited to the party only to learn I got the invite and never opened it.

Liar is wickedly tempting, steamy, and makes even the reader downright needy. Kent is every fantasy even down to his honest need to come clean. I just want to wrap him up and lock him in my basement! (What!?! I don't have a Voyeur membership. I will need to improvise!)

If you don't like naughty fun...
If you have an aversion to steamy chemistry...
If you are afraid of embracing your fantasies.
Perhaps you should hit up the mystery section at the library because this book will only make you crave more. MORE touching. MORE claiming. MORE and MORE. It will have you looking for forever.

I really liked Kent & Olivia's story. They were so good together and had such strong chemistry. They were meant for one another. I loved their characters, especially how strong and confidant Olivia was. These two were just great to read about and I am looking forward to Daniel and Hannah's story next!

It was a nice read until the latter part where Olivia was being stupid and acting like a commitment phobe when she was the one who fell in love first and wanted more from Kent. Huh.
