This was an interesting concept for a mystery! I enjoyed the commentary on dating apps, the tech industry, and AI! I do wish there were less subplots because it felt like there was too much going on and I had a hard time keeping track. I'd have to go back and reread sections to remember what was being referenced. The cliffhanger has me excited to read the second book.

Closer to 2.75 stars. This was my first real foray into a mystery and I wanted to like this book, but I found it plodding and not at all mysterious or intriguing.
A young woman who works for a secretive matching site investigator becomes embroiled in a murder mystery. I found the detailed explanations about how matching sites work tedious and some of the main character's investigative techniques improbably but still enjoyed the overall story.
