In the beginning I was a bit skeptical about the characters and how the author made them out to be, but the more I read the more I started to see why the author made her characters like this. I’m going to be honest, Ryen wasn’t someone I adored at the beginning but the more I got to know her the more I could kind of see myself in her.

This is also the first book that I’ve ever highlighted in, in the note from Penelope I highlighted the last sentences since they hit extremely hard to me. It hurts me that I kind of ruined the book but it was worth it.

I binged this book in a day. I enjoyed it. But it definitely wasn’t worth the hype from booktok. A good story? Yes. Character development 8/10. Overall I’m not mad I took the time to read. 3-3.5 stars.

The plot was moderate at best. I think the concept could have been something really great, but none of the characters were very likable. A lot of my questions went unanswered because they started subplots, then never went into any deeper details.

La storia è carina, solitamente quando un libro non mi piace lo abbandono.

In questo caso, nonostante ci fossero alcune cose che mi hanno fatto storcere il naso, ho comunque portato a termine la lettura.

Avevo bisogno di capire come l’autrice risolvesse l’intrigo creato, e non ne sono rimasta insoddisfatta.

È una lettura molto leggera, senza troppe pretese.

Cosa quindi mi fa dare solo 2 stelle?
Il lessico utilizzato nelle scene spicy.
Troppo volgare per una scena in cui i due personaggi si amano seriamente.

Lo spicy così non fa per me, meglio niente piuttosto.

In generale però, la trama è originale e godibile.

I have read better stories on wattpad. This was terribly written. They haven't even met yet and I can't handle it anymore. Don't want this to put me in a reading slump
