An absolute treasure! I enjoyed every moment of this beautiful queer vampire story!
I especially love how it’s set in modern times but they still speak like they’re from the 1800s, and the fact that though they seem old-fashioned the idea of queer relationships doesn’t bother them as I would’ve expected - as an LGBTQ+ reader, myself, I’m very happy with this.
Every character is amazing - whether it’s because you love them or hate them! Though Haruka is an extremely great character who manages to make me swoon just by being present, I have to say that Nino is my favourite. Everything about him is perfect!
I am extremely grateful to Karla for sending me an ARC and for writing such an incredible book! I can’t wait for the next one - I desperately want to see more of Haruka & Nino’s relationship, and I also really want to know what Cellina told Nino on the phone at the end.
If you are into fantasy, queer stories & slow-burning romances then I 100% recommend this! I hope everyone enjoys reading this as much as I did.
