I wasn’t aware this book switched perspectives throughout - usually I don’t like that kind of format, but I found both perspectives kept my attention well. Both of the main characters plots stand really well by themselves outside of the “romance” as well. Lots of mixed feelings on this book, but kept me wondering what happened next regardless

Couldn’t put it down! Definitely read trigger warnings and take them seriously or else you will not enjoy this book. Dual pov. It was a great read that was very spicy.

Iffy book. The non con “romance” set my teeth on edge and was very close to SA. Zades obsession with Addie is off putting and her response to him is unrealistic at best. However the sub plot of solving Gigi's murder is captivating and was my favourite part. The writing could be better and the nicknames could be less cringy (little mouse and kitty cat - really?). Overall not the worst book I’ve read this year but I wouldn’t reread.

Disturbingly graphic just to be provocative. I'm all for pushing boundaries but it was like reading Texas Chainsaw Massacre, gore for gores sake.
