ENTICING AND CAPTIVATING.

Ok this was a wild ride!!! Fast paced, twists and turns

Enzo, Killian, Sarge…. Three burly men and all linked to a certain lifestyle… Jordyn who is only wanting to protect her little sister.

I absolutely love the dynamic between the characters and also I’m sorry that CLIFFHANGER

The way this book had me giggling and kicking my feet??? omg I had so much fun. I really enjoyed this it honestly was such a good way to start my year off.

Not only was the story interesting and the spice HOT but I am loving all the characters! Regardless of the position that Jordyn is in she’s still snarky and I LOVE that. She really doesn’t let anyone walk all over her and honestly with the way this book ended I feel like she’s about to be even stronger in book two.🤭

The guys…I really like Enzo specifically because the way him and Jordyn’s first interaction went I can tell when he gets his shit together he’s gonna be my man my man. For now he’s lowkey on my shit list😂

Serge is the actual love of my life. Full stop.🫶🏼 AGAIN from that first interaction, the way he held Jordyn…bro I will throw up I love him so much😭😂 i literally screamed into my pillow “WHEN IS IT GONNA BE MY TURN!” Then he really just proves why he is my favorite the entire book. He’s precious.

Now…Killian is sooo unhinged and I’m obsessed. Also the way he was so confused why he was clearly into Jordyn was so funny to me.💀and he was so quick to defend her not once but twice! We love to see it.🤭

Anyways I’m loving this duet so far😂🖤

i found it a bit confusing to read. something feels off. i like the book but also their relationship is just like friends with benefits, but they had an argument, but one is infatuated and another is obsessed. so much happened at the end

Jaye Pratt is my go-to author for why choose stories, and this one does not disappoint. In this dark, MMFM contemporary mafia romance, we meet Jordyn, a woman on a desperate mission to find her missing sister, Pixie. Their home life has been a nightmare, and Jordyn has always sacrificed herself to shield Pixie from the same fate. But fate has other plans.

Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, Jordyn is thrust into the brutal world of Enzo D’Arco. He, along with Serge and Killian, is as dangerous as he is captivating. At first, Jordyn thinks she can handle the fire, but when the flames burn too hot, she realizes she might be in deeper than she ever imagined.

The tension is electric. The chemistry? Off the charts. Jordyn is no damsel—she fights, she endures, and she refuses to break. But when the darkness closes in, will she choose survival, or will she surrender to the men willing to do anything to keep her?

This book is intense, gritty, and packed with high-stakes emotion. While it lays the groundwork for the series, some moments feel a bit rushed. A little more depth into Jordyn’s internal struggles would have made this a solid 5-star read. Still, if you love dark romance with morally gray men and a fierce heroine, you need this in your life.
