I was so excited to see that part two was complete and ready for us to devour. And devour it, I did.
I loved how we got a little backstory with Mario D’Arco to begin with. It helped to fill in some gaps and made it more entertaining to read. The twist with Killian’s family was also a nice addition.
A part of me felt some bits were rushed – particularly the almost instant forgiveness between them all. I would have liked to see some more angst and grovelling, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have read several of Jayes books and loved every one and this was no exception. It kept me reading and wanting more loved the characters and the plot twists I didn’t see coming and I can’t wait for book 2 .

Page one and I was hooked.
The darkness in this book is not my normal go to, but in this story it is just so good. The characters are excellent and well fleshed out. I am rushing to turn the next page to find out what is happening.
The spice is very hot and there is just a perfect amount.
Really, this book is done so well that I finished it in one day! I just couldn’t put it down!
Highly, highly recommend. Definitely check your TW. These are bad men 😈.
