An reminder that money means power and control. Control over our lives, power in how we chose to spend or donate that money, power to support politicians, give others jobs, support a better work/life balance. That creating wealth isn't greedy but necessary in order to do the good we want to see in the world.

In this straightforward book, the author explains why women have a challenging relationship with money, the societal influences that hold us back, and how we can overcome them. Her strategies teach how to have an abundance mindset, overcome imposter syndrome, accumulate wealth to improve your life, and make the world a better place. It's an empowering and entertaining read.

I really loved this book. Rachel is a badass and an inspiration. So often in this genre of self help book, the author excessively drones on about irrelevant parts of their life. Rachel does a good job of bringing little bits and pieces of her life through the book and she doesn’t do it too much. It felt honestly like a conversation and coaching session. Big fan. Great tips. Really level setting and motivating.

This book was everything! Not only was she very relatable, but she was also extremely down-to-earth. Everything was understandable and there was so much that can be immediately implemented. This book gave me the motivation I needed to get off my butt and do something about my financial situation right now.

Listened to this on audio and I’m seriously obsessed. I need this running in the background at all times. So motivating and encouraging and empowering. LOVED hearing the author read it.

If I could award a once-annual 6 star review to a book, this one would win this year. I have already read it three times (i.e. listened to) before writing this review. I’m thrilled to set big hairy audacious goals. “Your wealthiest self is your most authentic self.” Real, practical steps for changing your income, and not from old white men that just tell you to stop buying your daily lattes.

This started strong about how women need too have to power in society to fund things we care about and want to support and then never touched on that again. Also like most financial self help it skips all the middle steps of how to gain wealth if you don't already have a super high earning skill.

Best for those running (or on the cusp of starting) a small business, and the author regularly suggests she is speaking to women of color. Also, while the title says we should all be millionaires, those who follow the author's methods will be reliant on those willing to stay in the regular working class (assistants, housekeepers, bookkeepers). Despite these things, I appreciated the empowering tone, and there is a lot here to return to when in action mode.
