I would not say that I was a hipster by any stretch of the imagination but I did see myself in a lot of the story. While that helped make the characters relatable, it also created an issue where most of this story felt like a well-worn path with nothing new to explore. I think this will make a better movie than book if the details like fashion etc. are nailed.

2.5 rounded up ⭐️ I went into this with very high expectations and maybe that’s why I was so letdown? The beginning was great , but the rest was boring to me and I didn’t feel connected to any of the characters.

The movie adaptation is going to be a HIT, but unfortunately for me, the book was not

loved that mc's talent was just being a music buff and having good taste / very American. Not completely. But enough to notice / that sweet spot for music when the internet was young and indie rock was the moment / for the music lovers but also it's not ONLY about music / will-they-won't-they /

that break-up inspired album would slap tho👀
