Damn this was dark. Take the triggers seriously.

A case of insta-love. Don’t go into this thinking it’s going to have ANY sunshine and rainbows. This is a dark, Romeo & Juliet-ish, love story with HELLA GOOD spice. I wanted to cry and be frustrated too— FOR A SERIAL KILLER? hmmm. Crazy.

P.S : get your comfort reads on standby.

It was dark, vantablack dark at that.
So disturbing yet I was unable to put this down.
Tho I need to constantly remind myself that all the kinky (it's the only word I could say without losing it) stuff was rather consensual..
Dana keeps pushing my boundaries with her stories and characters so I would strongly recommend to not go blind into this.
Pace was just perfect not too boring not a insta as well, and it was the best damn emotionally wrecking conclusion I could ask for, it was beautiful.

"Not all romance is pretty , and not all romance is love."

What did I just read. The most conflicted feeling I've ever felt while reading a "love" story. They deserve each other and the fact that I find parts of the story endearing really has me questioning my sanity. I am gonna need a "comfort read" after this.

**read the triggers**

Ive read a number of dark romance books but I felt that some parts of the book were just too descriptive for my liking and made me very uncomfortable. There were moments where I had to skip chapter because I just couldn’t stomach the descriptions. Some of the sexual scenes were just straight up weird, but who am I to kink shame.
It definitely got better towards because I felt more connected to the characters and felt very sympathetic when they died
