Great happy read - I listened to an audiobook version that had an accent and it was awesome! Really brought another view to the characters. Loved this second read from Phoebe Macleod and was just a beautifully whimsical love story.

-he's shorter than her! short king! we need better representation of normal sized men in romance (charlie lastra i miss you king)
-the ending with the boudoir photoshoot was actually really cute. it was very silly and a little cringe but i liked it.
what i didn't like:
-straight women stop saying you have "gaydar" 2k25. you did not have even a dandelion's fart worth of proof that he was gay smh
-also the gay best friend talk. both need to die.
-stop talking about introverts and extroverts. STOP TALKING ABOUT INTROVERTS AND EXTROVERTS.
-not nearly enough fun travel shenangians. not even a SMIDGEN of "there was only one bed" how dare they
