This is so poorly written and unoriginal. The title and specific lines in the book are taken directly from Halsey albums/songs. I need authors to get beta readers, arc teams, etc. because there are so many errors—misspellings, omitted words, inverted words, you name it, it’s there. She apparently has an editor, Pinpoint Editing, and if that’s really true, babe should get a refund for whatever “services” they rendered.
1 star for the quality of the writing.
The story was indeed quite dark and gruesome, but fell flat for me as it felt rushed and chopped. Maybe because there were missing words and numerous grammar mistakes. I hate when the lack of editing is ruining my reading.

In true Natalie Bennett fashion this was a dark a depraved banger!
I will read anything she writes every time.
This is a dark, religious/cult romantic horror story, book 1.
The FMC is disowned and cast out from her family, tied up and taken by her brothers and then raped by one of them before being left on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere where basically left for dead. But she is determined to live.
She ends up making it to a random stretch of woods only to be taken by a family of cannibals, chained up in their barn with another girl in waiting to be slaughtered and then eaten, when she makes an escape with the other chained up girl, to only THEN be captured again by a very dark and mysterious guy with a very sinister side and a literal pile of dead bodies in a hole in the back of their property.
I devoured this and absolutely recommend but check TW’s !!!

This book is so much more than I expected! I mean it's kind of shocking if you're not used to reading about a lot of dark stuff, like kind of gorey stuff, but you get used to fast, I like that they are good and bad, nobody is just one thing in reality, so I'm enjoying it a lot, this one was very good, hot, violent, and with a good female lead, I'll keep reading the series.
I don't even know how to rate this one. This book was chosen for a buddy read. It was totally dark, sick and twisted. Definitely not and I mean not for the faint of heart. Heed the authors warning before jumping into this one. This author does not hold back!!
Listen…. This book right here, couldn’t put it down, ended on a brilliant cliff hanger can’t wait to jump into the second one.
