Holy shit. This book was amazeballs!

What a twisted thrill ride this book was. I loved to hate some of the characters, and I loved to swoon at the dark and dirty moments.

Savages is an extremely dark read. I gobbled up this book in very few sittings and I could not get enough. The writing is fantastic, but it's Bennett. How could it not be? I feel like she takes what could be a dark moment and plunges it into the depths of pure blackness, taking it further into what good could not fathom. My depraved mind adores it.

Calista pulls you in from the start with an event that happened four years ago. She's a lost soul, a dark soul. Her world is horrible, but her desires are even worse. She is so strong with her messed up mind. Oh and don't even get me started on Romero. He's a character you love to hate, you're disgusted by, yet you're completely captivated. He is the essence of pure evil. And oh man did I love it! They're hot and they're cold, but they're savages and they know it.

An A+ (and more) to Bennet for this outstanding start of something wicked.
