Thoughts: For the most part, each chapter follows a different family and their (mostly) independent storyline. At times it was hard to keep the families and their storylines straight. But after a few paragraphs into each chapter, I was able to get back on track. Besides following five different families, this book is pretty linear. There are no “jaw-dropping” moments. It’s just a good family drama.
Brief Synopsis: Secrets and lies are both abundant on this middle-class cul-de-sac in Palm Springs, Florida. The neighborhood is comprised of five houses with each family fighting their own private battles.

There are many books like this out there - neighborhood whodunits. This one is right there in the middle. This has a touch of Liane Moriarty (many characters to suspect and weave the story) and Jodi Picoult (hot controversial topic). You would think that the combination would be the best of both worlds, but what you really get is only half of each.
Great story characters and dialogue I'm happy that tbe person I most wanted to die died.All the characters were relatable a perfect read.
This wasn’t the mystery/thriller I was expecting. It’s more of a family drama. The death doesn’t take place until near the end of the book. There is no mystery about who or why either. It was a frustrating read.
