An absolutely beautiful book written by an obviously wise and empathic author. I am always skeptical of sequels but this was the perfect addition to medicine walk. I cried the whole last chapter and during the additions at the end because I was so sad it was over. Wagamese is now one of my favourite authors and I can’t wait to read the rest of his work!

Starlight is beautiful and compelling and tragic and hopeful. Written with strength and vulnerability, this book is a true gift to readers. It is presented lovingly by agents and advocates with a deep knowing and deeper respect for Wagamese's work. To say that it was a privilege to journey into this story is an understatement. Like Frank, I find words failing me and will need to seek solace in the stillness of the forest.
