Laurel is the queen of pick-me girls but she’s also pretty funny. Don’t know if I’ll continue the series but a fun little read.
I am really enjoying this book so far, but I have to say I am getting a little sick of reading about a beautiful girl with two love interests fighting over her. Thankfully, I don't find her as annoying as Bella Swan.
Er zijn zoveel redenen waarom Laurel veel te pefect is. Ik ga ze niet allemaal opnoemen, daar ben ik veel te lui voor.
Eh. This wasn't particularly well written (both the writing style and the plot. Oh, and the pacing felt funny as well). I did like the author's take on fairy lore, but overall it was just kind of meh.
Also, as an added note, I AM SO OVER LOVE TRIANGLES. It's overdone, and most of the time, unnecessary. There are other ways to add conflict to a relationship. Ugh.

Wings was by far one of the best faerie books I've read to date. I enjoy reading paranormal and with all the hype on Vampires I decided to break away and try something new.
I enjoyed the new perspective of faeries that Aprilynne Pike brings to the table in her novel. Her idea of what faeries are as well as other mythical creatures are new and entertaining.
Once I started reading Wings I was not able to put it down. I read it in one day. Light reading, entertaining, and the budding love triangle kept me enthralled to the very end. Highly recommend it, the best part? It is a series and the second book is even better.

What the flippity fuck even is this book. I’m not leaving a full review, but rereading this has made me question my childhood. I am embarassed
This was so horribly painful (or painfully horrible) that I had to stop at page 100. It didn't take me long to get that far, so don't think I wasted too much of my precious book-reading time on this.
