A couple of entertaining stories from the master of horror- Stephen King. This was an audiobook version of some of his short stories taken from Night Shift. The narration was good, and the stories were interesting.

Two words, Steven King. I think that is all you need, right?

DNF'd at 20%, now I really enjoy horror, I really enjoy weird sh*t. I don't get grossed out very often and when I do I often still enjoy the experience. None of this was true for this Stephen King. The concepts of this may have been saved by better writing or a more interesting plot. But it seemed like a bunch of concepts or unfinished novels wrapped up and put into one book and called a short story collection. Also the plots came across as the most disgusting fantasy/drug induced nightmares I have read. It wasn't doing anything interesting nor did it have anything to really say it was just graphic and gross for no other reason than to shock and I didn't enjoy it.

Uneven quality, to say the least. The Mangler is almost comically bad, but The Ledge was fantastic. The title story was just bizarre.
