I have loved all of [a:Diana Gabaldon|3617|Diana Gabaldon|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1213918339p2/3617.jpg] books. I honestly wish Jamie Fraser was a really person!

In this book i felt like she dragged the story out way too much.Leading up to Brianna going through the stones and Rogar running after her too. Then the whole thing with the Mohawk Indians, I think she could have cut at least 200 pages out of this book and we would all be fine.

Brianna I feel like is a spoiled young woman and Rogar is an entitled asshat. Also there is absolutely not communication between the whole Fraser clan! I don't want to say too much in fear of spoiling it for other outlander lovers, but holy cow I hope the fifth book makes me like Brianna and Roger more.

The most frustrating, feeling inducing book I've read in a while.

Enjoyed this one thoroughly. Loved the scenes with the Indians, loved the intertwining of the other time-traveler (who was right but would never be able to accomplish his goals,) and loved our new couple. It is nice to see a relationship progressing from parenting to grandparenting while still being so full of life and love. Just enough realistic magic.

It made me feel the gambit of emotions ... especially where Ian was concerned. Unfortunately there was too much pointless boredom in the first half of the book. I think it's an okay read, but could be so much better with some of the endless monotony cut out.
