I'm not going to be including any spoilers for this review because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read this book.

This book was a SOLID 5/5 for me I DEVOURED IT and I'm so glad I picked it up. For someone who indulges in serial killer documentaries I knew I would've enjoyed it but I didn't expect to be this frigging good. Is it gruesome yes but just enough to give the story enough substance without it being overbearing. I loved that the author didn't drag the story on with unnecessary character drama and we focused on what the book was really about. We got a glimpse of the characters backstories but it didn't take away from the actual storyline and I LOVED that. It was fast paced and that ENDING was over the top. So many twists and turns right till the very end. I loved that it didn't wrap up to nicely at the end for the main characters involved because that really grinds my gears, perfect endings....I can't stand it. It was a realistic ending in my opinion with just enough suspense to leave your mouth gaping open.
I highly recommend this to anyone who loves thrillers. I can't wait to read more this authors work.

The Echo Man is an incredible debut that had me seriously addicted. Dark and eerie with a fantastic tense atmosphere, this plot had me hooked from the beginning. Complete with a chilling and shocking conclusion, this has it all! If you looked up a page-turner in the dictionary, there would be a picture of this book cover!

Due to the many crimes that occur, it would be an understatement to say this is not a read for the faint-hearted. The brilliant writing style takes the reader directly to the action, and I felt like I was a witness to these savage murders. I rarely re-read books, but I will make an exception for this one. I can not praise it enough.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this to all fans of this genre, and Sam Holland will certainly be an author I look forward to reading more of in the future!

A good book.

This was a good book, but it did’t give me that wow factor I look for. I wasn’t fooled by the twists because I saw unit coming. I would absolutely recommend it.
